Arkansas Claims Four Victories at Texas A&M Fall Invitational
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Three members of the Arkansas women’s tennis team opened play at the Texas A&M Fall Invitational, grabbing four wins between singles and doubles competition.
The Razorbacks started the day with two wins in doubles play. Senior Morgan Cross and graduate Kacie Harvey teamed up for a tight 7-5 victory while sophomore Katie Ferguson and Avery Esquivel of Texas A&M followed with a 6-4 win over Baylor’s Littell/Patton.
Cross took home her second victory of the day in singles play, defeating Pachkaleva (Texas) in straight sets. Harvey picked up her second win of the event after taking down Sierra Berry (Baylor) in three sets. Ferguson fell in straight sets in her only singles match of the day.
The Hogs continue play at the Texas A&M Fall Invitational tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
