Arkansas Hosts Arkansas State at Bud Walton Arena

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas women’s basketball (3-3) will host Arkansas State (2-2) for the Hogs’ first Sunday home game of the season.

Tipoff at Bud Walton Arena is set for 2 p.m. and the game will air on SEC Network+ with Shawn Murnin (play-by-play) and Matt Zimmerman (analyst) on the call. The game will also be broadcast on the radio, with Phil Elson and Erin Portman calling the action courtside.

  • The Hogs are coming off a 94-73 loss to ORU on Thursday, Nov. 21
  • Arkansas will face Arkansas State for the 12th time in program history. Arkansas owns an 8-3 advantage in the all-time series and the Hogs have won all three meetings since the moratorium on playing in-state schools was lifted.
  • The two teams last met in 2023 in Jonesboro, where the Hogs picked up an 82-67 victory. Carly Keats, Arkansas’ only returning player to play in the game, went 1-2 from three, her only points of the game.
  • Izzy Higginbottom, a former Arkansas State standout, leads Arkansas with 22.7 PPG and 4.2 APG while Jenna Lawrence leads the team with 7.7 RPG
  • Higginbottom has cemented herself as one of the best scorers in the NCAA through the first six games and ranks No. 12 in the country and No. 2 in the SEC in points per game (22.7). She also leads the team and ranks third in the SEC in FT%, going 46-51 (.902) from the charity stripe. Higginbottom leads the SEC and ranks second in the NCAA in FTA (51) and FTM (46).
