Arkansas Keeps No. 1 Status In National Poll
Arkansas remains No. 1 in the Boost Treadmill Cross Country women’s national poll following a convincing victory at UAB’s Blazer Classic.
The Razorbacks totaled 42 points for the team win while no other school scored under 100 points among the 10-team field, which included five nationally ranked programs.
The third installment of the poll keeps the Razorbacks in the top spot and they are followed by BYU, NC State, Duke and Texas among the top five. The next group of teams comprising the top 10 include Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Mississippi, and Alabama.
Other SEC programs in the poll include Tennessee and Kentucky, at 12th and 13th, while Georgia and Missouri are receiving votes.
The SEC Championships, held on Oct. 30 in Baton Rouge, La., will be the next competition for Arkansas. The fourth national poll will following that weekend when multiple conference meets are contested.
