Arkansas MGolf to Host 3rd Annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE – Ranked as one of the top 15 events in each of its first two years, Arkansas will once again be the center of the collegiate golf world with the playing of the third annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational, presented by Tyson Foods, Oct. 3-5 (Mon.-Wed.) at Blessings Golf Club.

For the third consecutive year, GOLF Channel will be on site to broadcast live each day from 3-6:30 pm. Admission and parking are free. Visit BlessingsCollegiate.com for more complete information about the event.

The Blessings Collegiate Invitational has quickly become a favorite among the fans, teams and television. It was the first – and still only – tournament to feature the men’s and women’s programs playing the same course at the same time with all five players from each school playing in the same groups. What makes the event even more unique is – in addition to the traditional team and individual titles – the BCI crowns a combined team champion and a combined, best-ball champion.

– Tee times start at 8:45 am each day.
– The Arkansas men’s program will start at 9:45 am off hole 10 on Monday.
– The Arkansas men’s program will start at 11:30 am off hole 1 on Tuesday.
– Tee times Wednesday will be determined based on seeding after rounds one and two.

The Razorbacks dominated the BCI last season.
– Arkansas’ men were 18-under and won by 13 strokes versus the seventh-toughest field in college golf including the NCAA Championship, NCAA Regionals and the various conference championships.
– Arkansas’ women were 9-under and won by 19 strokes. Arkansas’ women also won the inaugural event.
– Arkansas swept the individual titles – Luke Long for the men and Brooke Matthews for the women.
– Arkansas has won the combined team titles in each of the first two years.
– Arkansas has won the best-ball titles in each of the first two years as well.
