Arkansas remains No. 9 in national coaches’ poll

NEW ORLEANS – The first national coaches’ cross country poll following the first two weekends of action have Arkansas remaining in the No. 9 position they held in the preseason poll.

The Razorbacks also remain the top SEC school in the national poll with Alabama No. 10 and Ole Miss at No. 16.

In the NCAA South Central Region poll, Arkansas remained in the No. 1 position over Rice, Texas, Texas A&M, and SMU.

Arkansas races again this Saturday in Joplin, Missouri, at the Missouri Southern Stampede. The Razorbacks compete over 5,000m with a start time of 8:30 a.m.

The Razorbacks will race on its home course at Agri Park on Friday, September 30, with a start time of 4:30 p.m. in the Chile Pepper Festival.
