Arkansas Volleyball Opens 2026 Slate with Razorback Invitational

The Arkansas volleyball team is back in action this weekend and for the first time since 2023, the Hogs get home court advantage to start the season.

Arkansas will host Southern Illinois Edwardsville, UT Arlington and UT San Antonio for the Razorback Invitational Aug. 28-30. It’s the opening weekend for all three teams on the season, and the first three of 11 total home matches for the Hogs.

The Razorbacks’ first match of the season will be against the SIUE Cougars at 7 p.m. at Barnhill Arena on Friday. They then take on the UTA Mavericks at the same time on Saturday, and cap tournament action with a 1 p.m. matinee showdown against the UTSA Roadrunners.

Arkansas is a combined 6-0 all-time against all three teams but hasn’t met any of them in almost 11 years. The Razorbacks swept both SIUE and UTA in the 2015 season and has only played UTSA once: a 3-1 victory on Oct. 29, 2001.

All the Hogs’ weekend matches will be streamed live on SEC Network+. The tournament’s neutral contests will not be streamed, but live stats will be available via StatBroadcast.

Season and single match tickets for volleyball are available online, by phone, or in person through Razorback Ticket Center. Doors open one hour prior to first serve, and parking is available in lots 204, 205, 207, 209, 211, 212, 214 and 215 surrounding Barnhill Arena.

The weekend’s neutral matches are free and open to the public; full schedule is below.
