Arkansas Women’s Golf Releases 2021 Spring Schedule

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Women’s Golf will play in five regular season events this spring, Head Coach Shauna Taylor announced today. The Hogs competed in three events in the fall, including hosting the Blessings Collegiate Invitational, a tournament the Razorbacks won. Arkansas will play in Florida twice, South Carolina, Georgia and Louisiana to close out the 2021 regular season. The SEC Championship will take place in mid-April in Birmingham, Alabama, while the NCAA Regionals and NCAA Championships will be held in May.

“I am super excited to finally have our 2021 schedule in place,” Taylor said. “I feel like this is one of the best schedules we have put together in quite some time.  It will test our team every week while preparing us for the Championship segment beginning in April. After competing in three events in the fall, we added an additional tournament to help us prepare early in the season down in Florida. Each week we will be competing on great golf courses against some of the best teams in the country. We pride ourselves on playing difficult schedules like this one that helps our team prepare for winning.”

The Hogs tee if off in 2021 in Orlando, Fla., as Taylor’s crew will play in the UCF Challenge at the end of January (Jan. 31 -Feb. 2). Following the event, and a 12-day break, Arkansas turns around and heads right back to Florida, where the Razorbacks will play in the Moon Golf Invitational (Feb. 14 – Feb. 16), which will be held in Melbourne.

Arkansas will then turn its attention back towards the SEC following the Florida swing, as the Hogs will play in three straight events hosted by conference foes. Arkansas will start the month of March in Columbia, S.C., where they will participate in the Gamecock Intercollegiate (March 1 – March 3). They will then head back to Athens, Ga., where they already played this fall, to play in the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic (March 19 – March 21). Taylor’s Hogs will close the regular season on the Bayou, playing in the LSU Tiger Golf Classic (April 6 – April 7) in Baton Rouge just a week before the SEC Championships begin.
