Arkansas? Hatfield Recognized by ESPN.com

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Former Razorback Ken Hatfield’s famous punt return has been ranked No. 71 on Espn.com writer Ivan Maisel’s Top 100 Iconic Moments of College Football.

Hatfield’s punt return was an 81-yarder that propelled the Razorbacks to a 14-13 win over Texas, in Austin. The game, in 1964, was also part of Arkansas’ 1964 National Championship season.

Hatfield, the national leader in punt returns in 1963, caught the 47-yard punt on the Arkansas 19-yard line. He ran down the sideline, with help from a Jim Lindsey block, to score the 81-yard touchdown.
