Barbara invited to NWSL's Houston Dash preseason camp

HOUSTON – Former Arkansas goalkeeper Grace Barbara has been invited to the preseason camp of the National Women’s Soccer League’s Houston Dash. Barbara reported to the Dash on January 28, and camp is set to begin on the 30th.

Barbara transferred to Arkansas to play her final season after spending three seasons at Princeton. She started in 41 of 42 collegiate appearances, including all 22 of her appearances in Fayetteville.

Her 2022 campaign featured the program’s most shutouts in a season (11) and the program’s lowest goals-against average (.74) since 2020. Barbara came up big in the Hogs’ NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 match against Memphis and made crucial saves during penalty kicks to send the Razorbacks back to the Elite 8. Along with the Arkansas back line, she allowed the fewest goals in the SEC during the regular season. She was one of seven Hogs to earn All-SEC honors in 2022.
