Collegiate races in Chile Pepper Festival move to Friday, Oct. 1
FAYETTEVILLE – Collegiate cross country races in the 33rd annual Chile Pepper Festival will be held on Friday, October 1, while the high school and open races will remain on Saturday, October 2, at the Agri Park course, the Chile Pepper Festival organizing committee announced Monday.
Starting times for Friday’s collegiate races will have the women’s 5,000m at 5:00 p.m. with the men’s 8,000m at 5:30 p.m. Any additional collegiate races, based on number of registered teams, will occur at 3:45 p.m. and 4:15p.m.
Spectator attendance will be permitted for Friday’s collegiate races. Visit www.chilepepperfestival.org for information regarding Saturday’s high school and open events.
