Day two of tournament cancelled

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Saturday play of the Holiday Inn-NWA Razorback Invitational has been called off due to inclement weather. Play will resume Sunday at 10 a.m. at Bogle Park with the first of four games.

Arkansas (8-7) will take the field in the day’s final two games, a 2 p.m. match up with South Dakota State and a 4 p.m. contest against Wichita State. South Dakota State and Ball State will begin Sunday play at 10 a.m. to be followed by Bradley and Ball State at noon.

The bad spell of weather began Friday night which forced the game between the Razorbacks and Ball State to be suspended in the top of the sixth inning. When play was called, Arkansas held a 1-0 advantage but Ball State was threatening in its half of the sixth with runners on first and third and one out.
