Hogs Claim Friday Sweep Over SEMO, FAU
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 16 Arkansas Razorbacks blanked Southeast Missouri State (SEMO), 5-0, before capturing a 6-2 win over Florida Atlantic (FAU) to secure a doubleheader sweep Friday at Bogle Park.
The Razorbacks improve to 16-3 overall and 8-1 at home on the season.
Across two games Friday (14 innings), the Hogs outhit opponents 16-6, including tallying nine extra-base knocks.
Game 1
Arkansas clinched its fifth consecutive win against SEMO behind a gem from redshirt senior RHP Morgan Leinstock. Picking up the victory, Leinstock (4-0) went the distance in the three-hitter while punching out six batters and only surrendering one walk. The righthander did not allow a base runner in three different innings Friday afternoon.
Combining for nine hits, Arkansas took advantage of a four-run fifth inning to put pressure on SEMO after scoring just one run through the game’s first four frames.
Seniors Cylie Halvorson (2-for-3, 1 HR, 1, R 1 RBI) and Hannah Gammill (1-for-3, 1 HR, 1 R, 1 RBI) each recorded solo home runs. Bri Ellis drove in two runs on an RBI single to left in the fifth. Reagan Johnson also had a standout performance at the plate after going 1-for-3 with an RBI double to right center in the fifth.

- B5 | Cylie Halvorson began the bottom of the fifth with a solo blast to left center to stretch the lead to 2-0.
- B5 | Reagan Johnson’s RBI double to right center plated Atalyia Rijo from third.
- B5 | Bri Ellis brought in two additional runs on her two-RBI single to left for a 5-0 edge.
Game 2
Arkansas got its second win against FAU this season after sealing the 6-2 nightcap triumph. Sophomore LHP Robyn Herron pitched her second complete game against the Owls to move to 5-3 on the season. Herron impressed after surrendering just one earned run on three hits across 7.0 IP while ringing up four. The southpaw worked around five walks.
Offensively, Arkansas strung together nine hits, including three homers. Freshman Kennedy Miller was dynamite at the plate and recorded her first career multi-home run outing after blemishing two home runs against the Owls. Miller finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBIs. Rounding out Arkansas’ home run count, Bri Ellis smoked a solo home run in the first. Hannah Camenzind finished a career-best 3-for-3, including her first career triple, with an RBI and run scored. Hannah Gammill also drove in a run on an RBI single in the third.

- B5 | Miller smashed her second home run of the game – a solo shot to left center – for the 6-2 lead.
