Hogs Drop Sunday Series Finale
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 17 Arkansas fell to No. 20 Mississippi State, 15-7 (5), in Sunday’s series finale at Bogle Park.
The Razorbacks (24-8, 3-3 SEC) will round out their four-game homestand at 7 p.m. Tuesday against Central Arkansas. The game will stream on SEC Network+.
The Hogs combined for seven runs on 11 hits, including two home runs. Lauren Camenzind led Arkansas offensively after pounding a team-high three RBI. Camenzind flared her first home run of the season and the second of her career – a two-run tank – in the fourth. Cylie Halvorson went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in the fifth. Bri Ellis finished 2-for-3 with an RBI double. Raigan Kramer filed her second multi-hit performance in as many days after putting together a 2-for-3, two runs scored effort. Reagan Johnson collected her 14th multi-hit performance of the season after finishing 2-for-4 with a run scored.
RHP Morgan Leinstock started and went 1.1 frames in the circle, giving up six earned runs on five hits while racking up two strikeouts. LHP Hannah Camenzind took over in the second and spun 3.0 innings. Camenzind conceded four runs and six unearned runs. RHP Kasey Wood logged 1.1 innings of relief, checking the Bulldogs to two hits and zero runs.
