Hogs Head East for Showdown at the Net
Razorback volleyball kicks off a four-match slate this week with another cross-conference event. The Hogs will take on the Syracuse Orange as part of the ACC/SEC Showdown at the Net, with action set for Wednesday, Sept. 9 in Syracuse.
Arkansas is looking for its first win away from Barnhill Arena this season after the Razorbacks went 0-2 in their pair of SEC/Big Ten Challenge matches against Rutgers and Maryland. Wednesday’s matchup is the first at home for the Orange this year, and both teams carry 3-2 records coming into the contest.
The Hogs and the Orange have faced off two times before and Arkansas has won both, the last a 3-0 victory in 2017. The match is part of the Showdown at the Net series between ACC and SEC programs, in which the Razorbacks fell 3-2 to Boston College in 2025.
Wednesday’s first serve is set for 5 p.m. CT, and the match will be live streamed via ACC Network Extra (ACCNX). Live stats will be available StatBroadcast. Following Wednesday’s action, Arkansas continues action out east at the Towson Invitational Sept. 11-12 in Towson, Md.
