IAAF Day 8 – Kebenei Takes 10th in 3K-Steeplechase
DOHA, Qatar – Two Arkansas alums were in action on Day 8 of the IAAF Track & Field World Championships as Stanley Kebenei and Kiara Parker represented Team USA Friday afternoon.
Stanley Kebenei posted a top-10 finish in the final of the men’s 3,000-meter steeplechase Friday night at Khalifa Stadium. Kebenei crossed the line in a season-best time of 8:11.15 finishing second among the trio of Americans in the field.

The second Razorback to compete Friday night was Kiara Parker who ran in the prelims of the 4×100-meter relay. Parker ran the anchor leg for Team USA who finished first in their heat and fourth-overall, running 42.46Q.
