Kris Hari runner-up, Phillip Lemonious fourth in Trials finals

A pair of Razorbacks placing in the Olympic Trials finals of their respective countries on Sunday included Kristoffer Hari of Denmark and Phillip Lemonious of Jamaica.

Hari placed second in the 100m at the Danish Championships with a career best time of 10.22 (0.9 wind). Hari’s previous best of 10.26 was set in 2019 when he also registered a wind-aided 10.08.

Denmark’s 4×100 relay has qualified for the Olympic Games.

Lemonious finished in fourth place in the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.22 (0.6 wind) at the Jamaican Trials after establishing a career best of 13.21 during the semifinal the previous evening. Dealing with cramps in his calves, Arkansas alum Omar McLeod hit the first pair of hurdles and finished in 16.22 seconds.

The top three finishers in the race included Ronald Levy (13.10), Damion Thomas (13.11), and Hansle Parchment (13.16).

In the U.S. Olympic Trials held in Eugene, Oregon, Arkansas alum Jarrion Lawson was among the field of 12 in the long jump final. However, Lawson did not take an attempt among the first three rounds of the event following a five-hour postponement due to heat that registered over 100 degrees.
