ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Registering victories for Arkansas on the first day of the New Mexico Collegiate Classic were Razorbacks Lance Lang in the 200m and Wayne Pinnock in the long jump.

Lang won the 200m in 20.47 as he raced current collegiate leader Courtney Lindsey of Texas Tech (20.41), who was runner-up with a 20.58.

Meanwhile, Pinnock only needed one attempt to capture the long jump title with a leap of 26-7 (8.10) and moved to No. 8 on the UA all-time list.

Lang, who has a career best of 20.32, moves to No. 2 on the UA all-time list behind the 20.10 school record set by Wallace Spearmon, Jr. in 2005.

Then he clocked a 6.66 career best in the 60m at the Razorback Invitational, moving to equal No. 5 on the UA all-time list.

Finishing behind Lang were a pair of Arkansas sprinters in fifth and sixth place, who each set a career best. Connor Washington improved his indoor time to 20.70, which is equal No. 8 on the UA all-time list, and James Benson II improved to 20.74, No. 10 all-time at UA.
