Men's Tennis back to host Memphis

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s tennis team (3-3) will be back at the Dills Indoor Tennis Center to host the Memphis Tigers (1-6) on Saturday afternoon. The Razorback men’s match in Fayetteville is scheduled between a women’s double-header on Saturday.

Memphis is sitting with a 1-6 record this spring and coming off a two-loss weekend from Feb. 7-8. The Tigers fell 2-5 against fellow SEC-member Vanderbilt and then dropped a match to Harvard, 4-0.

Memphis was able to grab the doubles point against Vandy and Oscar Cutting earned a three-set victory at the No. 3 spot for the only points the Tigers were able to gain over the weekend.

Last Time Out

The Razorbacks picked up two wins against ranked opponents in singles action, but eventually fell to the Oklahoma Sooners on Friday, Feb. 7, 4-3. No. 73 Alex Reco continued his unbeaten streak by downing No. 71 Mason Beiler in straight sets while Nico Rousset grabbed a win against 92nd-ranked Justin Schlageter on court four. Earlier, the Sooners had taken the doubles point and then won three singles matches to edge Arkansas.
