The singles lineup for the Blue Raiders featured three top-105 ranked players, however, Manuel earned the only point of the match for the Hogs with a 6-2, 6-4 win over No. 105 Horak. On court two, No. 47 Kamrowski of MTSU secured a straight-set win over Barun, while Gerard Planelles Ripoll dropped his match after a battle against No. 25 Raquin.
