Men’s Tennis Gets NCAA Tournament Berth; Heads to Fort Worth for Regionals

The Arkansas men’s tennis team will continue its season this week as the Razorbacks were named to the NCAA tournament field with an at-large berth on Monday.

The selection is the first for the Razorbacks since 2024 and second under head coach Jay Udwadia. Arkansas has made 22 total appearances in the NCAA tournament dating back to 1979 with a 13-21 overall record. The Hogs last made it to the second round in 2016.

Arkansas has been placed in the Fort Worth regional, hosted by No. 6 TCU. The Razorbacks (16-14) will take on Cornell (18-3) in the opening round on Friday, May 1, at 2 p.m. The Big Red are a familiar foe as the two teams met in the 2024 NCAA tournament first round, also in Fort Worth. Cornell defeated Arkansas 4-0 in that meeting.

The winner of the match will go on to play the winner of host TCU (21-5) and Denver (18-5) in the second round on Saturday, May 2 at 4 p.m.

Live streaming and stats are both available via TCU, and links are also listed on the men’s tennis schedule page.
