FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Head coach Jay Udwadia has officially announced the signing of Louisiana transfer Karlo Kajin ahead of the 2023-24 men’s tennis season.

The Croatian native joins the Razorbacks as a graduate transfer after playing four seasons at Louisiana. Kajin was a mainstay in the singles and doubles lineup while playing a significant role for the Ragin’ Cajuns last season, leading the team in wins with 12 in singles and 11 in doubles. He received First Team All-SBC honors in doubles with partner Alejandro Sanchez Gonzalez along with Second Team honors in singles and doubles with partner Vasil Dimitrov. Kajin and Sanchez Gonzalez finished the season at No. 72 in the ITA doubles rankings.

In his sophomore year at Louisiana, Kajin posted a team-high 13 doubles wins while finishing with a 6-10 singles record. During his second season, he amassed a 9-6 singles record including eight wins in the second spot and added seven victories in doubles action. As a freshman, Kajin recorded eight wins each in singles and doubles play before his spring season ended early due to COVID-19.
