Men's Tennis Reveals 2024 Spring Slate

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas men’s tennis head coach Jay Udwadia has announced the team’s 2024 spring schedule. The Razorbacks are slated to play 30 dual matches with 14 in Fayetteville at Billingsley Tennis Center.

The schedule features 14 matches against 2023 NCAA Tournament teams and the Hogs will face seven top-25 opponents featured in the ITA preseason team rankings.

FULL SCHEDULE

The Razorbacks open the 2024 dual season on the road at Hawaii on Jan. 12, before returning to Fayetteville for five consecutive home matches. Arkansas will host Illinois State for its home opener on Jan. 19, followed by a match against Middle Tennessee State on Jan. 21. The remainder of the homestand consists of contests against New Mexico (Jan. 26), South Alabama (Jan. 28), and Memphis (Feb. 4).

The Hogs will travel to Lincoln, Neb., to take on the Cornhuskers on Feb. 10 prior to hosting Drake on Feb. 14. Arkansas will then play five of its next six matches on the road, beginning with a doubleheader versus Washington and Seattle on Feb. 17.

The team makes the short trip to Tulsa for another doubleheader on Feb. 21 to face Oral Roberts and Tulsa. The Razorbacks return home for a match against Lamar on Feb. 24, before going head-to-head with SMU on Feb. 28 to close out the month.

Arkansas opens league play on the road with a doubleheader at Tennessee on Mar. 3, where they will face the Volunteers and Tennessee Tech. The Hogs will then host Vanderbilt (Mar. 8) and South Carolina (Mar. 10), before traveling to Oxford, Miss., on Mar. 15 for another doubleheader against Ole Miss and Mississippi Valley State.

The Razorbacks hit the road again the following weekend, matching up against Alabama (Mar. 22) and Georgia (Mar. 24), before returning home for a pair of contests versus Kentucky on Mar. 29 and Auburn on Mar. 31.

The Hogs will travel to Baton Rouge, La., to face LSU on Apr. 5 ahead of two straight matches in the Lone Star State, where the Razorbacks will take on Texas A&M (Apr. 7) and Rice (Apr. 8).

Arkansas will conclude the regular season with three consecutive home matches, hosting UTRGV (Apr. 10), Florida (Apr. 12), and Mississippi State (Apr. 14). LSU will host the 2024 SEC Tournament, scheduled for April 17-21.
