Hear It From Coach Jackson

On singles play: “Singles has been a success for us thus far because we’ve gotten a lot out of it with Oscar (Mesquida Berg) in the quarters, Josh (Howard-Tripp) beating an ATP-ranked player and picking up another ATP point, Max (Verboven) beating an established player from Stanford and all of our guys being able to play singles matches. It’s been exactly as we’d hoped in terms of trying to get our guys experience at this level.”

On doubles play: “We were able to get three doubles teams in the draw, which is difficult. We were competitive, but weren’t able to win those matches. Again, it was very helpful for us.”

On Legacy National Bank: “We’re grateful to Legacy National Bank and in particular to Patrick Swope. We thank them for the support of the tournament. It’s been a great experience for our program.”
