Athletes from a field of 22 teams are scheduled to compete in the meet, which includes Central Arkansas, Crowder, East Texas A&M, Harding, Hendrix, John Brown, Kansas City, Missouri Southern, Missouri S&T, Northwest Arkansas, Northwest Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma Baptist, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma State, Oral Roberts, Ouachita Baptist, Pittsburg State, Stephen F. Austin, Tulsa, and UTEP.

“Most of our guys have done what they’ve needed to do as far as getting a regional mark and preparation for the SEC Championships,” said Arkansas men’s head coach Doug Case. “There are a couple of guys like Jordan Pierre who needs to run a decent 400m and Karabo Letebele who needs to run another 100m. For the most part we’re in pretty good shape.”

Pierre has a season best of 47.19 from the LSU Invitational and the current time that ranks 48th in the NCAA West is 46.38. Pierre, the 2025 NCAA Outdoor 400m bronze medalist, has an outdoor best of 45.44.

The Razorbacks currently have four sprinters among the top 48 in the NCAA West with Devyn Wright (45.56), Steven McElroy (45.77), TJ Tomlyanovich (45.83), and Zander Cruzan (46.19).

Alum Chris Bailey is entered in the 400m for the Twilight meet. Former Razorback Kason O’Riley is scheduled to compete in the high jump.

Arkansas seniors will be recognized starting at 4:10 p.m. prior to running events beginning at 5 p.m.

“Some of these seniors have experienced two national championships, and that’s pretty cool,” stated Case. “Now days it’s kind of rare that you get a four or five year student athlete. To the guys that do that, it’s hats off to them that they stuck with the program they wanted to be in helped the program be the best that they could be.

“I’m proud of the group we have. They’ve had a great experience here.”
