No. 2 Arkansas Finishes Third, Todd Wins at Darius Rucker Intercollegiate
HILTON HEAD, S.C. – No. 2 Arkansas women’s golf wrapped up its third spring tournament on Wednesday afternoon at the Darius Rucker Invitational. The Hogs finished third of 17 teams and senior Kendall Todd picked up her first collegiate individual win, sharing the title with No. 5 South Carolina’s Louise Rydqvist.
The three day event featured a stacked field, with 14 of 17 teams in the top 25. Weather impacted the final two rounds with wind gusts up to 27 mph and rain showers.
Arkansas finished round one and two in first place but fell after a 10-over par Wednesday.
Since their first tournament in September, the Hogs have finished no lower than third.
