No. 51 Koskel, O'Donnell Fall in Doubles Semifinals at ITA Central Region Championships

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Arkansas women’s tennis team concluded its run at the ITA Central Region Championships today as Anet Koskel and Grace O’Donnell dropped their semifinal match of the doubles draw.

The duo of No. 51 Koskel and O’Donnell faced off against Oklahoma’s Mester/Shcherbinina (Oklahoma) for a spot in the doubles championship tomorrow. Mester/Shcherbinina claimed the first set 6-2 and followed with a 6-3 win in the second to take the match in straight sets. The tandem closes their run in Memphis with a 4-1 doubles record and become the first Razorback pairing to reach the doubles semifinals at the ITA Central Region Championships since Morgan Cross and Tatum Rice in 2021.

The Hogs are back in action next week as they host the PTT 25K Fayetteville at Billingsley Tennis Center from Oct. 20-26.
