No. 6/8 Razorbacks Add Midweek Matchup at Tulsa

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 6/8 Arkansas Razorbacks will add an additional game to the schedule by visiting the Tulsa Golden Hurricane for a non-conference contest on Wednesday, April 22, at 5 p.m. on ESPN+ inside the Collins Family Softball Complex, head coach Courtney Deifel announced Thursday evening.

The meeting will be the 35th between the programs and the first since the 2019 NCAA Regionals in Stillwater, Okla. Tulsa leads the all-time series 20-14 and took the last matchup 5-0 on May 16, 2019.

Arkansas is 35-6 this season with a 10-5 record in SEC play. The Razorbacks are coming off a 2-1 series win at Mississippi State after dropping the first game 1-0, Arkansas responded with impressive wins by the scores of 8-0 (5 inn.) and 10-3 to take the series. The Hogs are outscoring opponents 353-101 this season.

Tulsa is currently 16-24 on the season with a 7-11 mark in American Conference action.

With the addition, Arkansas is now slated to play 51 games during the 2026 regular season. The Razorbacks travel to Norman, Oklahoma, this weekend (April 17-19) to take on the No. 1 Sooners in a crucial three-game SEC series. First pitch between the Hogs and Sooners is set for 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. Friday’s game will be televised nationally on ESPN2 with Matt Schumacker (PxP) and Amanda Scarborough (analyst) on the call. Saturday and Sunday’s contests will be televised on SEC Network+.
