KD TAKES THE HONORS
Arkansas senior INF Karlie Davison was named the SEC Player of the Week after her performance during the Hogs’ 3-1 week that featured a series win over Missouri and a win at Tulsa, the league office announced April 28.
Davison batted .667 during the week with a 1.769 on-base plus slugging percentage while registering six hits, a home run, three RBI, three runs scored, two walks, and two hit-by-pitches.
She highlighted the Razorbacks at the plate during a 7-2 win at Tulsa on April 22, with a 2-2 night that featured a three-run home run, a run scored, a walk, and a hit-by-pitch. Davison then collected a hit in a 4-0 win over Missouri on Friday before turning in a 2-3 performance with two runs scored during a series-clinching win on Saturday against the Tigers. She completed her weekend by going 1-1 with a walk and a hit-by-pitch in the series finale on Sunday. Defensively, Davison posted a 1.000 fielding percentage with seven putouts and five assists.
The Torrance, Calif., product is having an excellent senior campaign. She is batting .382 this season with six doubles, a triple, seven homers, 36 RBI, and 26 runs scored while posting a .474 on-base percentage and registering 11 multi-hit and 11 multi-RBI games.
BAIN AMONG THE BEST FRESHMEN IN THE GAME
Freshman Brinli Bain was named a Top 25 Finalist for the prestigious NFCA DI Freshman of the Year Award, the organization announced on April 23.
Bain became the fifth Razorback since 2018 to be selected to the prestigious list, joining Ella McDowell (2025), Kennedy Miller (2024), Reagan Johnson (2023), and former Hog Mary Haff (2018). Additionally, Arkansas is the only program in the nation to have a top 25 finalist for the award in each of the previous four seasons.
This season, she has posted a .384 average with 48 hits, 16 doubles, three homers, 39 walks, 38 runs scored, 33 RBI and a .533 OBP. She is seeking to break Stephanie Canfield’s freshman program record batting average (.381, 2013) while her .533 OBP ranks second among freshmen in a season. She has reached base in 46 of her 48 games played this season, while being the only player nationally to rank in the top five among D1 freshmen (Min 80 AB) in walks per game (1st, .81), OBP (1st, .533), and doubles (3rd, 16).
40 FOR ARKANSAS
Arkansas enters the final regular season series with 39 overall wins this season. The Hogs are seeking their eighth 40+ win season in program history.
Arkansas registered its seventh 40-win season in program history in 2025 with a 44-14 record. Five of the Hogs’ 40-win seasons have come under the direction of Courtney Deifel.
Deifel has posted 40-win seasons in 2025, 2023, 2022, 2021, and 2018. The only two 40+ win seasons before Deifel were in 1999 and 2000 under Carie Dever Boaz, when Arkansas went 46-29 and 44-31, respectively.
HAVING FUN WITH MULTIPLE HOME RUNS
Arkansas is 62-8 all-time when a Razorback player hits multiple home runs in a single game, including a 47-3 mark in the Courtney Deifel era.
The Razorbacks have won 37 of their last 38 games when having a player hit multiple home runs in a single game, dating back to Feb. 20, 2021, when Linnie Malkin started the streak by belting a solo home run and a two-run shot in a 6-4, 14-inning win at McNeese. Malkin’s two-run homer in the top of the 14th ended up accounting for the winning runs in the victory.
Active Razorbacks on the 2026 roster have accounted for 12 multi-HR games during their careers, while Arkansas is 4-0 this season when a player hits multiple HR in a single game with Tianna Bell, Ella McDowell, Kailey Wyckoff, and Dakota Kennedy all accomplishing the feat.
Additionally, Arkansas is 170-26 under head coach Courtney Deifel when hitting 2+ home runs as a team in a game. Since 1998, the Hogs are 267-59 when hitting two or more round-trippers.
ROB IS DEALIN’
Senior LHP Robyn Herron is 14-4 this season with a 1.99 ERA and 144 strikeouts in 91.1 innings of work while limiting opposing hitters to a .175 batting average and collecting four saves. The Tampa, Fla., struck out 13 batters while allowing just two runs on four hits and no walks during a complete-game performance in a 7-2 win at Tulsa on April 22. Her 16 10+ strikeout games are tied for the most in program history alongside Mary Haff (2018-2022). She was the seventh pitcher in program history to record 500 career strikeouts and 50 career wins. Herron threw her third career no-hitter and struck out 12 in a 6-0 win over Northwestern (Feb. 21).
She ranks among the top pitchers nationally entering the week in fewest hits allowed per seven innings (14th, 4.45), saves (15th, 4) and strikeouts per seven innings (5th, 11.0). Herron’s four saves lead the SEC.
ROAD HOGS
Since 2020, the Razorbacks have excelled on the road, posting a 75-28 record, the second-best mark among current SEC members, trailing only Oklahoma (84-12).
Arkansas has won 10+ road games in each of the past five seasons and is one of nine programs to finish in the Top 25 in road winning percentage in each of the previous two seasons alongside Grand Canyon, Chattanooga, Oklahoma, Marist, Duke, Tennessee, Texas and Florida. Arkansas is 9-5 in away games this season and went 12-4 on the road in 2025 and 12-5 on the road in 2024.
Arkansas is one of three SEC programs to post 10+ road wins with a road win% of .500+ in each of the past three seasons alongside Oklahoma and Tennessee.
The Hogs have won 19 of their last 23 SEC road series, which is the best mark among all SEC members during that time span (2021-present). From 1997 to 2020, the program had only won 17 SEC road series.
Arkansas is one of three programs alongside Liberty (22) and Miami of Ohio (23) to win 19+ conference road series since 2021. 11 of the Razorbacks’ 19 road SEC series victories have been over ranked opponents.
