No. 8 Arkansas Soccer Set to Take on Georgia

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 8 Razorback soccer (8-2-0, 3-0-0 SEC) will head to Athens, Georgia to take on the Bulldogs (8-2-1, 1-1-1 SEC) on Sunday, Oct. 3. First kick is set for 12 p.m. CT and the match will be televised on ESPNU.

The Hogs have not lost since Aug. 22, and are currently on an eight-game win streak, tied for the longest stretch in program history.

Scouting the Bulldogs

Georgia is coming off an overtime upset victory on Sunday, defeating No. 5 LSU, 2-1. The Bulldogs are first in the SEC in goals (37), assists (35), and points (109). They are led by forward Mollie Belisle, who is tied for first in the nation with 12 goals, and is third in points with 25.

The squads last faced each other on Oct. 27, 2019, in Fayetteville. The match ended in a 1-1 tie.

Last Time Out

The Razorbacks extended their winning streak on Sunday, defeating Ole Miss, 4-1. All four goals were scored in the second half, with forward Anna Podojil scoring two, resulting in her second brace of the season.
