No. 9 Arkansas Finishes T-4th at Seminole Intercollegiate
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – No. 9 Arkansas finished the final round of the Seminole Intercollegiate at Seminole Legacy Golf Club (Par 72, 7,505 yards) tied for fourth place after shooting 17 over Tuesday in the third round.
The Razorbacks had three players finish the tournament inside the top 20 of the leaderboard. Jacob Skov Olesen (T-4, -5), John Driscoll (T-8, -1) and Manuel Lozada (T-17, +4) all continued their strong performances.
Olesen took a step back from his performance on the first day, finishing today’s round with a two-over par 74 to close out the tournament. Today’s round still helped him finish in the top 5 for the second time this spring.
Driscoll was able to tally two birdies on the day, while only having three bogeys. The graduate collected his second top 10 finish of the spring season.
Lozada was able to bounce back from a rough front-9 of the course, to finish off the day with 4 birdies. He posted a two-over par 74 to end the day, moving him up four spots in the field.
The Razorbacks finished tied with Indiana and behind VCU (3rd, +1), No. 12 Florida State (2nd, -8), and No. 7 Ole Miss (1st, -13). The finish gives the Hogs their third straight top 5 finish since the spring season started in February.
Arkansas will return to the course on March 25 when it heads to Palma City, Florida for the Valspar Collegiate Invitational at the Floridian National Golf Club (Par 71).
