#ProHog Report: Jessica Jackson

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Jessica Jackson, a four-year Razorback and three-time All-SEC selection, has really made a career for herself overseas. Jackson, who hails from Jacksonville, Arkansas, has been playing overseas since her final season at Arkansas, taking the court for five teams: Pallacanestro Bellinzona (Switzerland); PAOK Thessalonikis (Greece); Elitzur Maclaren Holon (Israel); OA Chania (Greece); and most recently, Limonta Sport Costa Masnaga (Italy).

Jackson’s most impactful season came during the 2018-19 campaign, where she played 23 games for PAOK Thessalonikis in Greece’s A-1 league. The forward averaged 18.1 points per game, 6.7 rebounds per game and 1.0 steals per game on 54 percent shooting, earning herself the Eurobasket All-Greek Forward of the Year Award. Her team also had success that season, as they made the Greek League Finals, falling and finishing the season as the league’s runner-up.

The former Hog was great last season, as well, earning Co-Newcomer of the Year Honors in the All-Greek League, averaging 18.5 points for OA Chania. She also tallied over seven rebounds a game, and shot over 55 percent from the field.

So far this season, Jackson has played two games for the Limonta Sport Costa Masnaga club in Italy’s Serie A1. The former Hog is off to a strong start: Jackson has posted averages of 18 points, four boards, one assist and one block per game to start the young season.

As a Razorback, Jackson’s legacy has been marked all over the record book. The three-time All-SEC selection is currently fourth on the Hogs’ all-time scoring list, third on the program’s all-time rebounding list, and is sixth in all-time blocks.
