#ProHogs Stacy Lewis In Second With One Round Remaining

LANCASTER, Pa. — Former University of Arkansas All-American Stacy Lewis fired a one-under 69 and is in second place through three rounds of the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open in Lancaster, Pa., Saturday.

Lewis had four birdies and three bogeys on Saturday and is in the clubhouse with a 205 with rounds of 69-67-69 to open play.

  • Stacy Lewis will play in the final group for the second time in the U.S. Women’s Open. She led after 54 holes in 2008 and shot a 78 in the final round to finish tied for third.
  • The 69 is Lewis’ fourth consecutive round in the 60s at the U.S. Women’s Open and her sixth consecutive round in the 60s on the LPGA Tour this year.
  • Lewis has 11 top-10 finishes in major championships since 2011, including two victories (2011 Kraft Nabisco Championship and 2013 Ricoh Women’s British Open).
  • This year, putting has been the strength of Lewis’ game. She ranks fourth in putting average and first in putts per green in regulation for the season. But this week her ball-striking has carried her. She is tied for second in greens in regulation (44 of 54), while she stands tied for 26th in putting, with five three-putts, through three rounds.
