Razorback Doubles Duo Falls in ITA Fall National Championships Round of 16

SAN DIEGO – The University of Arkansas women’s tennis doubles pairing of Tatum Rice and Morgan Cross fell in the round of 16 at the ITA National Fall Championships on Friday.

Graduate student Tatum Rice and sophomore Morgan Cross faced Old Dominion’s No. 57 ranked Sasnouskaya/Starodubtseva in the round of 16, falling in two sets. The Razorbacks dropped the opening frame 6-2, battling back in the second set to force the tiebreaker but, eventually fell 6-7 (9).

The duo moves to 10-3 in fall competition, concluding fall play with the Razorbacks next week at the Texas A&M Fall Invitational, Nov. 12-14, in College Station, Texas.
