Razorbacks Face Rebs Sunday Afternoon in Road Finale
The Razorbacks will have their third away match in the span of a week and the last of the regular season on Sunday as they head to Oxford, Miss. for a matinee match against the Rebels.
While the Rebels have a losing record at 8-14, six of their eight wins have been at home, including one in the SEC over Mizzou. Historically, it’s been a tougher place for the Hogs to play – four of Arkansas’ last five matches in Oxford have gone to at least four sets.
The Rebs are one of the better serving teams in the SEC and are tied for eighth with 1.35 aces per set to the Hogs’ 1.28. Ole Miss’s Cameron Bradley is top in the SEC in digs per set at 4.93, which is also good for top 10 nationally.
The Razorbacks are coming off a 2-1 spurt of matches: a 3-1 win over Oklahoma at home, a 3-0 loss at Florida, and a 3-1 victory at LSU. Arkansas is 12-11 overall and 4-8 in SEC play with just three matches to play in the regular season.
Sunday’s match is set for 2 p.m. CT in Oxford. Action will be streamed live on SEC Network+.
