Razorbacks Finish 10th Folds of Honor Collegiate
GRAND HAVEN, Mich. – The 17th-ranked Arkansas men’s golf program opened its 2024-25 season with a 10th-place finish at the Folds of Honor Collegiate, played at American Dunes Golf Club. The Razorbacks finished with a 54-hole score of 889.
#16 Alabama fired a 7-under-par 277 in the final round and posted a three-day, 12-under-par total of 840 to win by seven strokes over #9 Illinois (847 / -5). The Crimson Tide and Fighting Illini were the only two teams to finish under par. #8 Texas moved up two spots to finish third (855 / +3). Alabama’s Dominic Clemons took home medalist honors, shooting a 9-under 204.
Matthis Lefevre led Arkansas by tying for 26th (77-67-76=220 / +7). Freshman Gerardo Gomez also shot 76 in the final round and tied for 34th (73-73-76=222 / +9).
Thomas Curry paced the Razorbacks in the final round by carding a 3-over 74 and finished tied for 37th (75-74-74=223 / +10).
Freshman Erich Fortlage tied for 42nd (78-72-75=225 / +12) and sophomore transfer Mark Stockdale tied for 55th (79-73-78=230 / +17).
