Razorbacks No. 15 in preseason national poll, South Central No. 1

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas begins the 2026 cross country season with Razorback coach Cale Wallace ranked No. 15 in the USTFCCCA preseason national coaches’ poll and ranked No. 1 in the South Central region.

The SEC leads with six teams ranked among the top 30, followed by the ACC and Big 12 with five teams each. Alabama at No. 4 is the top SEC squad in the rankings, followed by Arkansas (15), Georgia (20), Florida (21), Tennessee (28), and Missouri (30).

Oklahoma State secured 11 first-place votes and leads the national poll over New Mexico, Iowa State, Alabama, Oregon, Colorado, Northern Arizona, Wake Forest, BYU, and Wisconsin among the top 10.

Within the South Central Region, the Razorbacks claim the top position over Tulane, Texas A&M, Stephen F. Austin, Texas, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, TCU, Rice, Incarnate Word, and UT Arlington.
