Razorbacks Set for NCAA Corvallis Regional

FAYETTEVILLE – Top-seeded and sixth-ranked Arkansas begins play at the NCAA Corvallis Regional, hosted by Oregon State and the Trysting Tree Golf Club, on Monday (May 18). The 54-hole regional concludes on Wednesday (May 20).

The Corvallis Regional field has four of the nation’s top 20 teams, including Arkansas, Texas Tech (#7), Oklahoma (#17) and Charlotte (#19). Rounding out the field – in order of seeding – are UCLA (#30), Notre Dame (#31), San Diego (#42), Purdue (#43), Georgia Southern (#56), Oregon State (#60), Liberty (#80), Xavier (#93) and Sacramento State (#151). The Corvallis Regional will additionally have 10 individuals.

The top five teams and top individual not on an advancing team after 54 holes from each of the six regional sites will compete at the NCAA Championships, which is set for May 29-June 3, in Carlsbad, Calif., at Omni La Costa Resort.

There will be limited live video coverage at the regional sites at BabyGrandeGolf.com (which will require a subscription). The stream will have stationary cameras on holes 9 and 18 with selected on-course coverage.

Arkansas is playing in its 18th straight NCAA Regional. In the 37 NCAA Regionals contested since its inception in 1989, the Razorbacks have now been represented at 36, 32 times as a team and four times with an individual.

For the Razorbacks in 2025-26:
• posted an overall record of 107-23-3
• was 26-102-3 (.671) vs SEC teams and 27-15-2 (.571) vs current top 25 teams
• faced 47 of the 81 teams in the 2026 NCAA Regional field and posted a record of 61-23-3 (.718)
• won three times, the most since 2011-12 (7)

• posted a stroke average of 280.27, the best by nearly three strokes over the current UA record (282.97 in 2023-24)

The Razorbacks won the 1991 NCAA Central Regional and have seven runner-up finishes to their credit. Arkansas has advanced from a Regional to the NCAA Championship 20 times as well as four additional times when just an individual advanced.

Arkansas has only played in the state of Oregon twice, both during the Brad McMakin era. First, the Razorbacks finished runner-up at the 13-team Oregon Duck Invitational (Mar. 22-23, 2010) at Shadow Hills Country Club (Junction City). Then, Arkansas placed 12th at the 2016 NCAA Championship (May 27-30, 2016) at Eugene Country Club.
