As a Senior (2023-24)

During his senior campaign, Sau Franco was a key contributor in doubles for the Razorbacks, posting a 12-7 overall record along with a 6-6 overall singles record. In the fall season, Sau Franco impressed in his performance at the ITA Central Region Championships, advancing to quarterfinals of the doubles draw with Melvin Manuel in addition to reaching the Round of 16 of the singles draw. In the Round of 32 of the singles draw, Sau Franco picked up his lone ranked victory of the season over No. 58 Schlageter (Oklahoma) in three sets. During the dual season, Sau Franco consistently competed on courts two and three in doubles while collecting 10 wins. Sau Franco entered conference play with back-to-back victories with partners Benedikt Emesz and Stefanos Savva. Sau Franco began competing with Manuel at the start of SEC contests, where the duo won their first four matches together to push Sau Franco’s individual winning streak to six matches. The tandem clinched the doubles point for the Razorbacks in each of their first three matches, including in Arkansas’s victory over No. 52 Vanderbilt. The pair additionally helped the Hogs take the doubles point in matches against No. 24 South Carolina and No. 53 Ole Miss. The team earned a 6-3 win in the second round of the SEC Tournament over Mahjoob/Perez Peña (Georgia). Sau Franco appeared in the singles lineup for the Hogs in 10 matches, securing a point for Arkansas in victories against Hawai’i, Drake and Oral Roberts.
As a Junior (2022-23)
Singles Record: 7-12 dual // 2-9 SEC
Doubles Record: 15-12 dual // 2-7 SEC
In his first season as a Razorback, Sau Franco posted a 9-14 overall singles record and led the team in doubles wins with a 15-12 record. In the fall, Sau Franco and partner Adrien Burdet qualified for the ITA Fall National Championships after making an appearance in the ITA Central Regional doubles final. The duo went 4-0 through the fall and 4-0 in the dual season together. In singles, Sau Franco recorded five straight wins headed into conference play. Sau Franco’s two wins in conference play came against Ole Miss and Florida.
As a Sophomore at UT Arlington (2021-22)
Finished 33 singles matches with a 20-13 record…led the team in overall wins (20), dual wins (13) and tournament wins (7)…7-4 tournament record and 13-9 record in dual matches…primary No. 1 singles player (10-9)…also played on court two (3-0)…finished 24 doubles matches with a 9-15 record…1-4 record in tournament play and 8-11 in dual matches…played courts one (1-4), two (3-2) and three (4-6)…primary partner was Maks Lukman (5-7)…First Team Singles Sun Belt All-Conference.
