As a Senior (2024-25)

Barun primarily competed atop the singles lineup during his senior campaign, recording a 13-17 overall singles record and clinching seven of Arkansas’ 18 wins. During the fall season, Barun made an appearance in the quarterfinals of the doubles draw with Connor Smillie at the ITA Central Region Championships. Barun opened SEC play with a comeback victory against Kamrowski (Ole Miss) and secured the highest ranked win of his career following a straight-set victory over No. 37 Roddick (Texas A&M). Barun obtained another ranked win after defeating No. 121 Penzlin (LSU), 7-5, 2-6, 6-3, marking his fifth career ranked singles victory. Barun began the season playing with doubles partner Marino Jakic on court one, where the duo finished with a 3-3 record. Barun then competed with Benni Emesz at the No. 2 and 3 positions at the start of SEC play as the tandem picked up wins in matches against No. 12 Texas A&M, No. 51 Ole Miss, LSU and No. 32 Florida in the SEC Tournament, where the pairing clinched the doubles point for the Hogs.
As a Sophomore (2023-24)

Doubles Record: 9-11 dual // 5-6 SEC
Barun opened the season with four victories in his first five singles matches during non-conference play. Barun posted a 12-14 overall singles record and earned his first ranked win over No. 97 Neff (SMU). Barun recorded two ranked wins and three victories overall in SEC matches, defeating No. 57 Panarin (Vanderbilt), Latinovic (LSU) and No. 52 Jin (Florida). Barun began competing with doubles partner Jared Horwood on court one at the start of SEC play, where the duo won their first three matches. The tandem defeated No. 10 Hoole/Samuel (South Carolina) and recorded six ranked victories, including four top-35 wins. Barun and Horwood became the first Razorbacks to earn ITA Doubles All-American honors since 2017 after advancing to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Doubles Championship. The team registered victories over No. 64 Klaassen/Sharrma (San Diego) and No. 12 Heck/Ozolins (Illinois) in the tournament en route to their recognition. The pair finished the season with a 7-9 record together and were ranked No. 28 in the final ITA doubles rankings.
As a Freshman at Wake Forest (2022-23)
In his lone season with the Demon Deacons, Barun finished with an 8-4 record in singles. Barun played many roles for Wake Forest, primarily competing at court four. He ended the dual season winning his last five matches, finishing with a 6-1 record in the No. 4 position for Wake Forest. Barun compiled a 3-3 record in doubles, recording all three wins at the No. 3 position.

Barun comes to Arkansas from Split, Croatia, and holds ATP career-high rankings of No. 1216 in singles and No. 929 in doubles.
