2015 | Junior
Tallied a season-high 13 kills in three matches, hitting the mark against Kansas State (Sept. 19), Mississippi State (Nov. 8) and Georgia (Nov. 15)…nine matches overall with at least seven kills…three or more total blocks in nine matches with a season-high six blocks against LSU (Nov. 11) and No. 19 Texas A&M (Nov. 28)…tallied a career-high five digs in three matches…hit .297 with 2.33 kills per set as a starter in the final nine matches of the season.
2014 | Sophomore
Made seven starts during sophomore campaign…eight kills and five digs in five-set win over Michigan (Aug. 30) during season-opening Arkansas Invitational…tallied season-high 10 kills off the bench against Middle Tennessee…posted four or more blocks in five matches including season-high six blocks on three separate occasions against Michigan, South Dakota (Sept. 12) and North Texas (Sept. 19).
2013 | Freshman
Capped the season-opening Arkansas Invitational with a 14-kill performance against UMKC, posting a .417 hitting percentage in the process…tallied 3.33 k/s with a .290 hitting percentage during the first weekend of her collegiate career…came off the bench against Auburn to put down five kills and tie her then-career high with four total blocks…equaled SEC high with five kills in road match at Texas A&M…registered five kills on five swings and three total blocks in sweep of Ole Miss (Nov. 3)…established career high in total blocks in back-to-back matches with six against South Carolina, followed by seven blocks against Mississippi State…tallied nine kills, two blocks and an ace against Creighton in first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Prior to Arkansas
As a senior, Harbin guided McGill-Toolen Catholic High School to the semifinals of Alabama’s Elite Eight State Tournament. In leading the Yellow Jackets to the Alabama State Tournament semifinals, Harbin was named to the all-tournament team. Most recently, she was named to the Under Armour Girls’ High School All-America team by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). Harbin was also an All-Mobile County performer and received Player of the Week honors during her senior season. As a junior, Harbin was selected to the 2011 PrepVolleyball All-Americans list. Following a standout 2010 season, Harbin was recognized as a member of the PrepVolleyball Soph 79 as one of the top varsity sophomores in the country. That year, she was also a Birmingham News First-Team All-State and All-County selection.
Personal
Born Sept. 2, 1995, Danielle Lexus Harbin is the daughter of Glenn and Michelle Harbin of Mobile, Ala. Danielle has two older siblings in Kimberly and Glenn. While at Arkansas, she is planning to major in accounting.
