Stephens Cup, where she also logged an 8-over 226 (80-69-77), while firing her first career round in the 60s in the second round with a 69 … Went 1-over for a 217 (75-71-71) at the Moon Golf Invitational, where her third round was accomplished with zero bogeys.
AS A FRESHMAN (2021-22)
Played in four events during her first collegiate season … Made her collegiate debut at the Moon Golf Invitational, tallying a 73 in round one … Best performance of the year came at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic, logging a 224 (73-78-73) to tie for 16th place … Was in the lineup at the SEC Championship, where she carded a 232 … Appeared in rounds two and three at the NCAA Championship.
PRIOR TO ARKANSAS
Fernandez joined Taylor’s program by way of the Montverde Academy … The Asuncion, Paraguay native has several signature finishes thus far in her amateur career, including second place finishes at the Sudamexicano Amateur (2019) and the Optimist International Junior (2019), while notching a win at the AJGA Billy Horschel Junior … In all, Fernandez has notched 21 wins worldwide.
