High School
In 2022, Bair won three titles in the Idaho 3A State meet with Kimberly HS. The events included the pole vault at 14-0 after clearing a career best of 14-6 for fourth time during the season to win the district title. A career best of 24-0.75 claimed the long jump while a 14.29 secured the 110m hurdles. Bair was also runner up in the 400m with a career best of 48.80.
2021 U.S. high school leader with a decathlon score of 7,496 points, which ranked No. 8 all-time among preps. Bair produced the score in winning the 17-18 division of the 2021 USATF National Junior Olympics, bettering the meet record of 7,405 points set in 2001 by Donovan Kilmartin.
Bair is one of four future Razorbacks among the high school all-time top 10 in the decathlon. The list includes 1. Gunnar Nixon (8,035); 4. Gabe Moore (7,819); 6. Kevin Lazas (7,510); and 8. Bair (7,496). Bair and Kilmartin (No. 9 with 7,486), who is from Eagle, Idaho, are the only two who have a mark from their junior season among the all-time top 10.
Competing at the 2021 Idaho 3A State Championships, Bair claimed four individual titles in the 110m hurdles, high jump, pole vault and shot put. In 2019 he was the 3A State champion in the pole vault.
High school best marks for Bair include 10.78 (100), 14.12 (110H), 48.80 (400), 6-4 (HJ), 14-6 (PV), 24-0.75 (LJ), 54-9.75 (SP).
