Series Opener Between Hogs and Sooners Moved to 5:30 p.m.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Due to forecasted weather, the series opener between the No. 6/8 Arkansas Razorbacks and No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners on Friday, April 17, has been moved to 5:30 p.m. instead of its originally scheduled 7 p.m. start time.

Friday’s game will be streaming on SEC Network+ following the change. First pitch between the Hogs and Sooners is set for 7 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. Saturday and Sunday’s contests will be televised on SEC Network+.

Arkansas is 35-6 this season with a 10-5 record in SEC play. The Razorbacks are coming off a 2-1 series win at Mississippi State after dropping the first game 1-0, Arkansas responded with impressive wins by the scores of 8-0 (5 inn.) and 10-3 to take the series. The Hogs are outscoring opponents 353-101 this season.

Oklahoma entered the week as the consensus No. 1 team in the nation with a 40-5 record this season, including a 13-2 mark in SEC play. Oklahoma is coming off a 6-4 loss to in-state rival Oklahoma State last night at Devon Park in Oklahoma City.
