Siow honored again by SEC

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas swimmer Yi-Ting Siow repeated as Southeastern Conference swimmer of the week announced Tuesday after she won the 100-yard breaststroke, 200y breaststroke and 400y individual medley to lead the Razorbacks to a split in their double-dual meet against Florida and Kansas on Saturday at Arkansas Natatorium.

Siow touched in at 1:01.63 seconds to finish first in the 100y breaststroke, improving on her time from last weekend by one-tenth of a second. Siow swept the breaststroke events by winning the 200y breaststroke in 2:13.93. She clinched her third event of the meet when she turned in a time of 4:21.63 in the 400y IM.

The senior is currently ranked in the top 25 nationally in four events, including first in the 100y breaststroke and 200y IM.

The Razorbacks return to action Nov. 6 when they host another SEC opponent in Vanderbilt at Arkansas Natatorium at 4 p.m.
