Razorbacks Conclude Second Day At SMU Fall Invite

DALLAS – The Arkansas women’s tennis team completed the second day of the SMU Fall Invite with singles play against Washington and doubles play against SMU and Kansas on Saturday at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex.

Junior Lenka Stara picked up the lone singles win for the Razorbacks on the day, defeating Matsuda (Washington) for her first singles victory of the event. Junior Grace O’Donnell and sophomore Morgan McCarthy battled hard and went the distance in each of their matches, although both eventually fell in three sets.

The duo of McCarthy and sophomore Katie Ferguson teamed up to dominate for their second victory of the event over SMU’s Patel/Skelton, 6-1.

The Hogs finish play at the SMU Fall Invite tomorrow morning starting with doubles play against TCU and Wisconsin followed by singles play against SMU and Kansas.
