Soccer adds Schultz to spring roster

Arkansas soccer has announced the addition of transfer Macy Schultz from Texas Tech, a forward who played four seasons at Texas Tech, head coach Colby Hale announced Wednesday.

“We are excited to add Macy to the team,” head coach Colby Hale said. “She fits perfectly into what we want for an attacking player and we look forward to being able to help her grow, starting this spring.”

Schultz appeared in 73 matches for the Red Raiders, including 42 starts. She had notched 34 points on 14 goals and six assists. As a freshman, she was named Big 12 Freshman of the Week and appeared on the Big 12 All-Freshman team in 2019.

In her senior season, Schultz was one of eight Red Raiders to start in all 19 matches. She netted four goals and logged 1,396 minutes.

“I’m super excited and blessed by this opportunity and cannot wait to get started!” said Schultz.

A native of Tinmash, Colo., Schultz played club soccer at Real Colorado, leading them to two national championship appearances. Her sister, McKenna, played soccer at Iowa State.
