Soccer ends spring season with win over Oklahoma
The Razorback soccer team completed its spring slate of games Saturday with a 3-1 victory over the Oklahoma Sooners at Razorback Field.
Oklahoma struck 15 minutes into the match, then conceded three unanswered goals to give the Hogs their third spring win.
Freshmen Taylor Berman and Sophia Aragon netted two of the goals, with junior Anna Podojil finishing off the Sooners with 15 minutes remaining in the match.
Arkansas finished the stretch with a 3-1 record, defeating Kansas State, TCU and Oklahoma. The Razorbacks’ lone loss came against the Horned Frogs on March 5.
Head Coach Colby Hale Recaps the Spring Season
“It was a good end to the spring. We had to deal with some stuff and I thought we did very well. We will take a healthy balance into the spring of areas we grew as well as some areas we need to continue to grow. We played a tough schedule and the team responded to that challenge, as they always do.”
