Steinbock Signs 2019-20 Prospect

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- The Arkansas women’s tennis team signed its first 2019-20 prospect in Kelly Keller, head coach Courtney Steinbock announced Wednesday afternoon.

The Laguna Beach, Calif., native is a top-75 player in national competition and ranks 12th among California competition, with her national rankings improving from No. 291 to No. 66 during her high school career.

Keller will come to the Hill with an overall record of 239-183, competing in mixed doubles with her twin brother, Charles. A two-year letter winner at Laguna Beach High School, she has earned top-3 finishes in the Lakewood National Level 3 Tournament, the Hawaii National Level 2 Tournament, and multiple national selection tournaments.

“I'm really excited to welcome Kelly to the Razorback family,” Steinbock said. “Her passion, work ethic, and love for the game will make an immediate impact on this program. I'm looking forward to getting her here on the Hill and I can't wait to get started.”

The Razorbacks are entering the final stretch of regular season play, with nine matches left on the schedule until the SEC Tournament. The team will return to the court this weekend to close out a five-match homestand, hosting LSU and Texas A&M.
