Erin Horne - - Arkansas Razorbacks

Erin Horne

Erin Horne, the director of basketball operations at UCF for the last three seasons, has been hired in the same role at Arkansas and replaces longtime staffer Amber Shirey, who announced her retirement last month.

Horne started her operations career in 2016 as an intern with the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream. The Orlando, Florida native then spent two seasons as a women’s basketball graduate assistant at Mercer, where she earned her master’s in higher education leadership. In 2019, Horne was hired as an assistant coach and director of operations at Lipscomb, where she spent four seasons before moving back home to UCF.

“I am extremely grateful and excited for the opportunity to join Arkansas and work under Coach Kelsi Musick’s leadership,” Horne said. “From my first conversations with Coach Musick, it was clear that Arkansas is a special place. The chance to work alongside someone whose vision and values align so closely with my own makes this an especially meaningful opportunity. I look forward to serving our community, supporting our student-athletes and staff, and helping continue to build champions and Razorbacks for life.”

Horne played collegiately at Converse College (SC), where she was a four-year letter winner and became the all-time steals record holder for the Valkyries. She is set to join the staff on June 29.
