Hanna Axene-Sorensen joined the Razorbacks as the Director of Football relations in the spring of 2023.
Axene-Sorensen came to The Hill from Southern Methodist University (SMU) where she served as the Assistant Director/Eligibility Coordinator for the Academic Development for Student-Athletes (ADSA) from 2020-23. She was responsible for eligibility monitoring for all SMU Student-Athletes as well as serving as the Lead Academic Counselor Football and Men’s Basketball. She helped support the football program in achieving all-time program GPA records. She joined the ADSA in the spring of 2017 as the Academic Counselor for Men’s Basketball.
In 2016, Axene-Sorensen served as the Athletic Academic Advisor for the football program at the University of South Alabama.
A 2015 graduate of Southern Methodist University, Axene-Sorensen competed for the rowing program for four years. She also served as a Graduate Assistant from 2015-16 in the Student Services department while earning a Master’s Degree in Sport Management. A native of Irvine, California she is married to Arkansas graduate, Adam Sorensen.
